Enterprise Account Executive - Cybersecurity (Remote United States)

 RedLegg is seeking an Enterprise Account Executive to drive growth by developing new business opportunities, expanding strategic customer relationships, and selling cybersecurity consulting, managed security, and professional services solutions. The ideal candidate has a proven track record of selling cybersecurity services or cybersecurity technology solutions, building long-term client relationships, and engaging executive stakeholders, security leaders, and IT decision-makers. This is a quota-carrying role focused on both new business development and account growth. The successful candidate will thrive in a collaborative, entrepreneurial environment and work closely with security consultants and engineering teams to deliver meaningful cybersecurity outcomes for clients. Candidates without prior cybersecurity sales experience will not be considered. Experience selling cybersecurity consulting, managed security services, security assessments, penetration testing, incident response, MDR/XDR, or cybersecurity software solutions is strongly preferred.

Description

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a territory growth strategy.
  • Build and maintain relationships with enterprise and mid-market customers.
  • Identify, qualify, and close new cybersecurity consulting, professional services, and managed security opportunities.
  • Drive all aspects of the sales cycle including prospecting, discovery, proposal development, negotiation, and close.
  • Partner with security consultants and engineering teams to develop customer solutions.
  • Maintain active relationships with technology partners and referral partners.
  • Accurately forecast pipeline and revenue activity.
  • Represent RedLegg at customer meetings, industry events, and networking opportunities.
  • Stay informed on cybersecurity trends, emerging threats, and security technologies.

What We’re Looking For

Required
  • 5+ years of quota-carrying cybersecurity sales experience.
  • Proven success selling cybersecurity consulting services, managed security services (MSSP), penetration testing, security assessments, vulnerability management, incident response services, cybersecurity software, or related cybersecurity solutions.
  • Experience selling into enterprise and mid-market organizations.
  • Demonstrated ability to generate net-new business opportunities.
  • Strong consultative selling, relationship-building, and negotiation skills.
  • Experience engaging executive stakeholders, IT leaders, and cybersecurity leaders.
  • Highly motivated, self-directed, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to travel as needed.
Preferred Backgrounds
Experience working for one or more of the following: 
  • MSSP (Managed Security Service Provider)
  • Cybersecurity consulting firm
  • Security VAR or systems integrator
  • Managed services provider with cybersecurity offerings
  • Cybersecurity software vendor

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience selling cybersecurity consulting and professional services.
  • Existing relationships within enterprise IT and cybersecurity organizations.
  • Experience working with channel partners and technology alliances.
  • Understanding of managed security services, security assessments, penetration testing, incident response, MDR/XDR, vulnerability management, risk management, or compliance services.

Regional Account Manager – Cybersecurity / MSSP (Remote, U.S.)

 RedLegg is hiring Regional Account Managers to own and grow defined U.S. territories selling managed cybersecurity services. This is a full-cycle, quota-carrying role focused on acquiring new customers and expanding existing accounts. You will work closely with Security Engineers to deliver outcome-driven cybersecurity solutions that help organizations reduce risk, improve resilience, and meet compliance requirements. This role is best suited for professionals with experience selling managed security services (MSSP), MDR, SOC services, incident response, cybersecurity consulting, security assessments, or related cybersecurity solutions.

What You’ll Do

  • Own a defined regional territory with revenue and quota responsibility.
  • Close new logo business while expanding existing customer accounts.
  • Lead discovery conversations with IT, security, and executive stakeholders including CIOs, CISOs, and Directors of Security.
  • Sell managed cybersecurity services including SOC, MDR, Incident Response, Compliance, Security Assessments, and Consulting Services.
  • Collaborate with Security Engineers on solution design, scoping, and proposal development.
  • Manage pipeline, forecasting, and CRM activity with discipline and accuracy.
  • Develop relationships with referral partners, channel partners, and strategic contacts.
  • Represent RedLegg at regional meetings, industry events, and customer engagements.

What Strong Candidates Bring

Required
  • 4+ years of quota-carrying cybersecurity, MSSP, managed services, security consulting, or enterprise technology sales experience.
  • Experience selling managed security services, MDR, SOC, Incident Response, security consulting, or security-related solutions.
  • Proven territory ownership and complex deal management experience.
  • Demonstrated history of achieving or exceeding sales quotas.
  • Ability to manage both new business acquisition and account growth.
  • Comfortable engaging technical buyers and executive stakeholders.
Preferred
  • Prior experience within an MSSP or cybersecurity consulting environment.
  • Experience selling penetration testing, security assessments, compliance services, MDR, SOC, or incident response solutions.
  • Experience working within regulated industries such as healthcare, financial services, government, or defense.
  • Existing relationships within a defined territory.
  • Familiarity with SOC 2, PCI-DSS, HIPAA, NIST, CMMC, or similar cybersecurity frameworks.

Compensation

  • Base Salary: $70,000 – $90,000
  • Uncapped Commission Plan
  • Accelerators for exceeding quota
  • Clearly defined On-Target Earnings (OTE)
