The story behind RedLeggis a little silly but it is a story worth telling. Laura's mom and dad had just come back from a little Las Vegas vacation. In a very uncomfortable conversation, her mom spoke of a need of high end entertainment toys in the Las Vegas hotels. In the meantime Laura was happily working full time at a technology reseller in Chicago, IL also working on her MBA. The last course in the MBA was to create an online e-business. With her mom's recent discovery & her MBA project, GLW Specialty (Enbody) was born.
Along with husband Lynn, Laura built a solid research and development team to create customized entertainment toy boxes for high end hotels out of New York. What the heck does this have to do with RedLegg? Well while Enbody was up and running, Laura was again working happily at her technology reseller job. She loved talking to people throughout the day, she loved all of the fantastic resources she was working with to help solve customers’ technology challenges. Really, she loved her good job and was not ready to give it up for an entertainment toy business. Plus she was sick of all of the phone calls she was getting from her friends for a demo of the kits as well as her 3 year old constantly finding large embarrassing toys.
Lynn and Laura then decided to re-focus GLW Specialty to what they love and know the most, technology. Their circle of close friends include security specialists, storage experts, networking nerds, the entire perfect network needed to create a circle of resources around them to make GLW- now RedLegg successful. In case you are wondering, Enbody is still going on silently in the background, it was hard to give it up completely. But no, no free demos at this time.
